VISION, MISSION, and VALUES guide us in fulfilling God’s will for and in our communities.
Culture is built with intention or happens by default. From the board to the cleaning team, we all carry the same responsibility in culture building.
Students of Jesus loving people in our community as it is in heaven.
We are committed to learning, practicing, and living the values of Jesus Christ. Our hope is to be a part of seeing our communities become like heaven.
We source everything we do in Jesus. he is the clearest image of God, and we strive to be like him and do as he does.
We love with selfless affection found in Christ’s love for the church.
We celebrate and mourn with others through life’s twists and turns.
We believe in integrity and grace-filled accountability.
We contribute care through resources of time, finance, food, and clothing.
We welcome the outsider just as Christ welcomed us.
We work to restore marriages, families, neighbors, and trust in the Church.
We refuse to tolerate gossip, backbiting, complaining, and division.
We won’t always get it right. We extend and receive grace continually.
We take initiative in problem solving, not problem finding. Out attitude is “all-in”.
We can’t do it alone and others can’t do it without us.
We believe in having fun. As Andrew Carnegie says, “There is little success where there is little laughter.”
We’re all students of Jesus and none of us have ‘arrived.’ These beliefs aren’t a statement of who’s allowed to attend our church. They’re the framework we exist within. Our core beliefs help frame our understanding about God and human existence.
We believe there is one God. In the unity of the Godhead, there are three persons: Father, Son, and Spirit. The triune God is equal in every divine perfection and attribute, fulfilling distinct but complementary roles in the great work of redemption.
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and the guide and rule of our faith and practice.
We believe Jesus Christ was the sacrifice God planned from the foundation of the world for sin. By shedding his blood and dying on the cross, Jesus made provision for the salvation of all people.
We believe water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Spirit is an outward sign of an inward work following conversion.
We believe in the partaking of the bread and the cup in communion as remembrance of the Lord’s death, burial, and resurrection. We celebrate an open communion for all believers regardless of church affiliation.
We believe the Spirit comes to dwell in every believer at the moment of salvation. The baptism of the Spirit is distinct from salvation, giving the power of the Spirit through faith. The baptism of the Spirit is accompanied by gifts of healing, glossolalia, miracles, words of wisdom, prophesy, and more. The baptism is given to endue the believer with power from God, to offer an inspired witness for Christ, to lead the believer in a life of holiness, and to equip for a Spirit-empowered life of service.
We believe the second coming of Christ will be personal, visible, and triumphant.
We believe Christians should gather regularly for encouragement, worship, community, and teaching. All believers should contribute by way of their gifts, time, and finances.
We believe heaven and hell are real. Judgement will come for all creation. Those who reject the grace of God will be removed from his presence. Those who receive God’s grace will spend eternity with him.
